At Thanksgiving you are more likely to see a traditional Green Bean casserole, but with all the cream and carbs added to make it a casserole you lose all the healthiness of the green beans. For me, a healthier and equally traditional dish would be southern style green beans. Be sure to use ghee instead of butter, or just skip that altogether. There will be enough bacon-y goodness to make it rich, you probably won't miss it.
